Distant Worlds: music from FINAL FANTASY premiered in 2007, and has since had hundreds of performances worldwide at most of the world’s most prestigious concert venues. DW features exciting scores from the entire FINAL FANTASY series, including works by eminent video game composer Nobuo Uematsu. This multimedia live concert experience combines stirring HD video footage from the games to match the soaring emotions of the music, performed by over 100 musicians from the Distant Worlds Philharmonic Orchestra & Chorus. Arnie Roth conducts these multimedia masterpieces.
AWR Music has arranged and orchestrated numerous works from the FINAL FANTASY catalogue, and maintains the full Distant Worlds library at our office in Chicago. AWR Music has recorded many of these works and released them on the popular Distant Worlds albums. The AWR team contracts all musicians for each performance, arranges logistics for travel, and coordinates merchandise sales.
